लिखने की तरफ़ झुकाव बहुत छोटी उम्र से हुआ था। अब ठीक से तो याद नहीं मगर ये शायद 1995 के आस पास की बात है, जब मेरी उम्र नौ बरस थी। दिल्ली के एक उर्दू रिसाले ‘बच्चों की निराली दुनिया’ में मेरी एक नज़्म ‘मेरा ख़ानदान’ छपी थी। शेर वेर मैं बहुत पहले कहने लगा था।
In Akbar Allahabadi, Urdu language found a humorist, a satirist, a commentator, and a reformer. Unlike many, his satire is not corrosive, or black in nature. He lived during the British Raj and his poetry provides glimpses into the socio-political conditions of that age.
Akhtar ul Iman was one of the most important Urdu poets of his time. Considered as one of the pillars of modern Urdu Nazms (Poems). Akhtar also wrote dialogues for more than hundred bollywood films including ‘Waqt’ and ‘Qaanoon’.
शकेब जलाली की शायरी का उस्लूब मुनफ़रिद और मुमताज़ है और उनकी ग़ज़ल में क़ुदरत रात-दिन, जंगल-सेहरा, बहार-ख़िज़ाँ, अपने हर रूप में जलवा-नुमा है। उनकी शाइरी में ख़िज़ाँ-रसीदा शजर, चाँद, दरिया के इस्तिआरे क़सरत से इस्तेमाल हुए हैं।
Mushaira (mehfil or bazm) is a gathering of the poets who write, recite and listen to poetry of one another written in Urdu language, with a participative and responsive audience. It is not a contest which has a winner in the end, but the poets simply read out their self-composed poems in their patented and individual styles, crafted in accordance with a specific metrical pattern and carrying a certain loftiness of thought.
