Asrar-ul-Haq Majaz (1911-1955), also known as Majaz Lakhnavi, has traditionally been called a poet of romance and revolution.
झूठी दुनिया का सच्चा अफ़साना-निगार
मंटो की ज़िंदगी उनके अफ़सानों की तरह न सिर्फ़ ये कि दिलचस्प बल्कि संक्षिप्त भी थी। मात्र 42 साल 8 माह और चार दिन की छोटी सी ज़िंदगी का बड़ा हिस्सा मंटो ने अपनी शर्तों पर, निहायत लापरवाई और लाउबालीपन से गुज़ारा। उन्होंने ज़िंदगी को एक बाज़ी की तरह खेला और हार कर भी जीत गए।
